The Reed (Bông Lau) is a popular plant in Ninh Binh, so you can find it everywhere in Ninh Binh. However, it grows the most in Hoa Lu Ancient Captial. The word “Hoa Lư” itself means “The Reed – Hoa Lau“. In many Vietnamese’s mind, Ninh Binh is the hometown of “the reed”.
History of the young hero Đinh Bộ Lĩnh associates with the story “War Game with The Reed”. This image from the anecdote has become a symbol of patriotism, national pride, pioneering position, and leadership.
From these values, the name “REED” was chosen for this hotel, to show respect and pride in the history of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh – the Ancient Capital of Vietnam, and also showing the proud of building a symbolic hotel in the area. In addition, the image of “the reed” is also a natural attraction – an advantage of the local tourism, as well as the trend of travelling nowadays.
